Support Local Rescues

As part of our service to the community, we try to help all paws in different areas, by supporting local pet rescue efforts and initiatives. This section of our website focuses on highlighting organizations that do work on animal rescue, fostering and adoption anywhere in Ontario and Canada. We feel it’s important to spotlight their unique services, along with the positive impact they are making in the local pet community. Together, we are creating a village that helps animals in need; every step and contribution for the community counts. Here, you’ll be able to learn more about the great work local rescues are doing, and explore ways you can support them, through:

  • Donating financially
  • Donating food
  • Volunteering your space or time

Please note: LocalPaws introduces rescue organizations as a resource only. We do not screen individual groups; nor are we involved in the rescue, adoption, or fostering process. We encourage you to use your own judgment and evaluation when considering your support for these rescues. Make sure you are comfortable with their mission, values, and practices.
