Kindred and Milo: Love Beyond Blood

My name is Kindred, and this is my little brother, Milo. I’m a ten-year-old Husky Akita mix, and Milo is a brown and white Catahoula Greyhound Vizsla mix. My pawrents adopted us both from the Brantford and Brant County SPCA about one year apart. My name used to be Princess, and let me tell you, I sure get treated that way! I have a serious love for treats, meat, and cheese, and I will scoff if you even think about passing veggies my way. I love spending my days lounging around, getting pets, and being outdoors. I’m super social and demanding of my nightly brushing, but don’t get me wrong, I’m an independent girl.  My little brother, Milo, on the other paw, is totally the op-paw-site of me. He just turned six and is still as energetic and crazy as he was when he was a pup. He will eat whatever treats and food you pass his way, and he always wants more. He’d be the winner of any food-eating contest and is probably the fastest around. He loves pets and snuggles just like me, but he’s also a little baby at heart. He loves when our parents sing to him, and he always wants to be in the middle of any conversation with his hundreds of toys. Everyone notices his two different-colored eyes, but we actually both have different-colored eyes – his are just more noticeable. We are definitely a bonded pair and are so thankful for our family of four.  Story by Asia, Kindred and Milo’s Mom.
