New Release: Three for the Road

Three for the Road: An Amputation Journey is a new release by London, Ontario author Natasha Baguley-Ahmad. It tells the inspiring story of her relationship with her dog Kaiserin, who had her rear right leg amputated in 2018 following a cancer diagnosis. Together, the two battled Kaiserin’s cancer while discovering the joy in life and learning that no obstacle is too great to overcome. Kaiserin taught Natasha how to live in the moment and appreciate every single day.

Kaiserin accomplished remarkable things on three legs, including earning a Championship Trick Dog title and even learning how to paint—holding a brush in her mouth. Over the course of a year, she created a beautiful collection of abstract artwork.

After Kaiserin’s passing in the fall of 2020, The Tripawds Kaiserin Cancer Care Package Program was established in her memory. Each month, care packages are sent to dogs and cats battling cancer. Natasha’s two other dogs, Schultz and Wilhelmina, now continue Kaiserin’s legacy by painting and selling their art to help fund the care package program.

“Three for the Road: An Amputation Journey” is a touching story about determination, resilience, and the power of love. It beautifully captures the unbreakable bond between a dog and her devoted owner.

This is Natasha’s first book.
